OUR SERVICES
We work with high school students and their families as well as with college graduates seeking higher degrees. We provide a personalized, guided tour through the college selection and admissions processes. Our comprehensive program is tailored to meet the needs of your family. Our commitment to you is to listen to your thoughts, ideas and concerns, and to remain accessible throughout this shared journey.
At Educated Decisions we charge a flat fee; that way, you need not worry about the number of hours we are devoting to your student. Our fee is the same whether you begin working with us in your student’s freshman year or senior year. |
HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR PROGRAM
"If you are looking for a counselor to help with college and career planning, Terry St. Bernard is the best. She has the expertise and relationship skills to empower students to reach and exceed their goals. From the start, we were impressed with Terry's college counseling expertise and her ability to help us understand how much the higher education landscape shifted since we attended college in our early lives. Terry started the process with in-depth interviews with our son to understand his strengths, goals and aspirations. Combined with an analytical approach to assessment, Terry identified a target list of colleges that were a "custom fit" for our son based on his academic and career goals, as well as the values of the community he was looking to join. She developed a well thought out strategy to enhance his application that went beyond the norm of identifying reach, target and safety options. Terry was practical and encouraging throughout the process which helped us all stay calm and centered up to the moment that our son received his acceptance to his #1 college choice. During his first year of college, Terry continued to help counsel on course selections and internships, providing objective suggestions to help our son achieve his first internship in Washington, DC. We are thankful to Terry for her great counsel, advice and encouragement for our son who is enjoying the college that was the right fit for him. We highly recommend Terry St. Bernard to help students in their journey to explore college and higher education to achieve their future goals."
